Since then, it has been home to neighborhood events including socials, kids activities, and the best viewing of the Johnsons Pond Annual 4th of July Fireworks display. \u00a0Its amenities include a private gate, swimming area &amp; beachfront, boat launch, bicycle parking, porta potty (seasonal), and picnic tables.<\/p>\n<p><b>Important Safety Reminders\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/woodestates.org\/Wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_2022-e1565833809381.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-696 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/woodestates.org\/Wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_2022-e1565833809381.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"217\" height=\"289\" srcset=\"https:\/\/woodestates.org\/Wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_2022-e1565833809381.jpg 3024w, https:\/\/woodestates.org\/Wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_2022-e1565833809381-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/woodestates.org\/Wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_2022-e1565833809381-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 217px) 100vw, 217px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2018The Point\u2019 and its amenities are for use by WERA Members only. To ensure continuous access to the Point, residents must follow the instructions on the WERA <a href=\"https:\/\/woodestates.org\/Wordpress\/?page_id=569\">Membership<\/a> tab for obtaining an access code to the Point, which changes annually every spring.<\/li>\n<li>Please do not share your access code.<\/li>\n<li>As WERA members, we\u2019re all responsible for keeping the Point safe and beautiful by following guidelines for its proper use. Please remember to:\n<ul>\n<li>Put trash and recycling in the proper receptacles<\/li>\n<li>Close the gate behind you to prevent unauthorized access<\/li>\n<li>Report any maintenance concerns to WERA <a href=\"mailto:wera02816@gmail.com\">wera02816@gmail.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Report public safety concerns to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coventrypd.org\/\">Coventry Police Department<\/a> (401) 826-1100<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>WERA members are welcome to bring guests! Just remember that all guests should be accompanied by WERA members. We all play a role in keeping the benefit of the Point as a private retreat for dues paying members.<\/li>\n<li>Dogs are welcome! Just remember to keep them leashed and use the clean-up bags provided near the entrances.<\/li>\n<li>Glass bottles of any kind are strictly prohibited for the safety of children who run and play on the property.<\/li>\n<li>Open fires are strictly prohibited.<\/li>\n<li>The Point is closed dusk to dawn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Boat Ramp Do\u2019s &amp; Don\u2019ts<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do close the ramp gate when not in use.<\/li>\n<li>Do prepare your vessel in advance of using ramp to avoid holding up those waiting to load in\/out.<\/li>\n<li>Non-motorized vessels,\u00a0please use the unpaved side of the ramp to allow motorized vessels access<\/li>\n<li>If fishing off the dock, please do clean up discarded lines, lures and other materials.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t leave the gate opened and unattended.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t block the boat ramp.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t power load boats onto trailers.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t leave vessels unattended at the dock.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please respect this beautiful and unique property that we enjoy and share with our families and friends.
